PTA

Our PTA is friendly and fun. We meet each half term on a Friday morning, over a cuppa and a cake to discuss future events. We work as a team to create and organise fun activities and to raise vital funds for the school. We always try to make our Fayres and discos family orientated, good value and memorable for our children.

Our Annual events include:  Easter and Summer Fayre, celebration stalls, discos, coffee fundraising events.

last year we raised nearly £7,000. This is an amazing amount of money, which helped buy the children fantastic playground equipment, Easter prizes, Ipads, leavers hoodies and even a trip to the panto!

This could not be possible if it wasn’t for the selfless help given from our volunteers. Everyone plays a part and we always need others to join our PTA and offer their experience in different fields to carry on raising funds to offer the children a great experience at Monkhouse Primary School.

We really need more volunteers to help organise events and raise funds for our amazing school. Please don’t worry if you can’t make many meetings, as we can always keep you up to date with ideas and messages by email. Even if you can source raffle prizes, help at an event, bake cakes or set up stalls, anything is a great help and is always very appreciated.
