As a school and community we take part in many different events to raise money for charity. This page will show you the various events we have taken part in and the money we have raised! To ensure we are not asking for too many charity donations, we limit the number of charities we will support annually. Every year in September, the pupil leadership team discuss with their peers which charities they would like to support each year.

Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter 2024
We would like to say a massive thank you to all involved in this mazing day. it was fabulous to see the effort some children had gone to, for their costume, with some amazing face painting and hair dyeing.
Thank you for all the generous donations of bedding, toys and food for the cats and dogs. I am sure they and the volunteers will love them.
Father's Day Stall 2024
The children all had an opportunity to buy gifts for their fathers or other adults. These were reasonably priced and there was a variety of items for all to purchase. We are really lucky in this school to have such an active PTA who understand the importance of buying something and the joy on the children's faces as they clutch their gifts to take home.
Tiny lives charity day
The Pupil Leaders would like to say a massive thank you to everybody for their contribution to this extremely successful day which raised an amazing £310. Who knew there were so many shades of purple! We had an assembly with a representative from Tiny Lives, who was amazed with the children’s knowledge of this charity and the importance of the help they provide. Tiny Lives loved the bookmarks we had created and took some back to the unit for families to use!
Well done to the pupil leaders in year 4 & 5 who designed these fantastic bookmarks!
Well done to Daniel in Year 4 who guessed the amount of sweets in the jar exactly!
Well done to Charley in Year 1 who won the basket of goodies!
Bay food bank- December 2023
The children chose to support the food bank as they are aware that some families are struggling at this time, especially just before Christmas with the extra expense. We collected over the autumn term and we were proudly able to donate 12 large bags of items to help others.
Red Nose Day
In March we enjoyed Red Nose Day. It was slightly different this year with classes having to stay in their bubbles, but we still had lots of fun decorating biscuits, wearing non-uniform and competing in a class 'red nose' and spoon race!
