Playing, exploring, discovering, imagining, learning.

At Monkhouse we are incredibly proud of our Early Years provision. Every day is a learning adventure with opportunities to learn, play, investigate, collaborate, communicate, share, enjoy, solve, fascinate, wonder, discover and imagine.

We know what an important time this is for you and your child. Our early years staff work extremely hard to ensure every child is happy, confident and excited as they come to school.  We know that happy, confident children make the best learners.

Your child will make friends, learn to be independent and amaze us all with the many things they learn.  One of the most important things your child will learn is to be an active learner.  By fostering ‘Characteristics of Effective Learning’ such as curiosity, resilience, initiative and courage, we will support your child in becoming a life-long learner.

This is not just the start of a journey for your child, but the start of your journey as Monkhouse families.  We will work with you to give your child a fantastic start to their school life.

Healthier together
