Great North Maths Hub

The Great North Maths Hub is one of 40 designated hubs and is based at Monkhouse Primary School. The Maths Hub programme is supported by the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics and funded by the DfE.

Established in 2014, Great North Maths Hub is led by Monkhouse Primary School, part of the North Tyneside Learning Trust and is supported by our Strategic Board whose key role is to provide strategic advice, challenge and support to the Maths Hub leadership.

The hub works with all schools and education establishments within Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland.
