It is my privilege to be the Head Teacher of a school I truly love. Having taught here for many years, I know first-hand what a special community we have, and I am beyond excited to welcome you and your family to it.

My ethos for Monkhouse is simple: I want our school to be a vibrant, happy place where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to come to school each day. We are incredibly proud of our exceptional academic results, but I fiercely believe that these achievements must never come at the expense of happy children. Our priority is always developing the whole child. We strive to provide a world-class education tailored to our local area, treating every child as an individual and caring for them just as we would our own. This is woven through our curriculum, that we aim to bring to life in many ways.

To achieve this, our school values are woven into everything we do. We encourage our children to be ambitious and courageous in their learning, while giving them the support they need to become resilient, respectful, and above all, kind individuals.

I am a caring, honest, and open person, and I passionately believe that a school like ours should be the beating heart of the community and a place of pride, inclusivity, and shared support.
