As this week is Children’s Mental Health Week we have been learning more about how to keep our bodies and minds feeling healthy.  We’ve talked about feelings, about what happens to our bodies when we experience different emotions and how what to do when we are feeling unhappy.  We’ve also explored different ways of adding a little extra happiness to our day - it has been a lot of fun!

We know that, at different times in their lives, some children suffer from mental health issues which go beyond the usual ups and downs of life.  If you have concerns about your child you can speak to a staff member, or to your doctor who can help you to access support.  If you would like to find out more about Children’s mental health issues, you can click on the links to  websites which offer information and support to young people and to parents and carers.
