School Collaboration

 As a school, we work in collaboration with a number of different partners to benefit the children, staff, governors and parents in our community.We collaborate to share unique opportunities to make a profound difference to the lives of children regardless of background or barriers, where every child can feel encouraged to aspire, empowered to achieve and motivated to progress.

 

North Tyneside Learning Trust:

​We are a foundation school part of the North Tyneside Learning Trust.  Our Head Teacher is the primary director of the trust.

North Tyneside Learning Trust is a collaboration of schools working in partnership with employers, universities and colleges to improve education and life chances for all children and young people.

Aims of the trust
  • To strengthen Governance and Leadership in Trust schools;
  • To support and secure School Improvement across all Trust schools;
  • To increase participation and attainment in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects;
  • To increase progression to further and higher education;
  • To support and invest in Apprenticeships;To build collaborative partnerships between schools, employers, and higher and further education providers;
  • To create education to employment pathways; 
  • To engage in research and development activity geared towards improving social mobility and tackling disadvantage;
  • To support the transformation of North Tyneside into a high wage, high skill economy; and
  • To support early years development.
 

 

Marden High Family of Schools:

​We work extremely close with our feeder secondary school with transition programmes beginning as early as year four. The transition learning mentor works across both schools to ensure transition is smooth and seamless.
