DYSLEXIA SUPPORT

Dyslexia North East have recently been in contact with us. They have moved to the area and have set up their base at the Cedarwood centre in Meadow Well, North Shields. They are a charity helping people with dyslexia or dyslexic traits to realise their potential and they are wanting to develop some new services in North Tyneside.

One of these new services is an 'After School Club'.  The sessions will run 4-6pm every Monday during term time from the Cedarwood centre, Avon Avenue, Meadow Well, North Shields, NE29 7QT.  There is no charge for the sessions and they are focusing on children between 8-11 years old.  Participants do not need to be Dyslexic but sessions are designed for those struggling at school.  The sessions will be fun and interactive, helping participants to develop confidence in their own ability.  The sessions will be tailored to address each individuals area of difficulty once identified.
